Bo Jackson Biography Essay
This biography paper is about, one of my heroes, Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson. Bo Jackson was prabably one of the most famous people who played professional baseball and football players in the world in the 1900’s. Jackson got the nickname “Bo” because his brothers thought he was a boar since he beat up the other kids in the neighborhood so the brothers shortened boar with bo, that is how Bo Jackson got his name. Bo was given the name Vincent Edward Jackson by his mother of seven children, but now eight, Florence Bond Jackson. Born on November 30,1962, at Bessemer Alabama, Jackson was born and given the name Vincent Edward Jackson by his mother, Florence Bond Jackson. Bo Jackson’s dad, A.D. Jackson, A.D. did not really mary Florence and actually had a family of his own on the other side of Bessemer. Vincent Jackson was quite the scrapper in his neighborhood, Jackson actually hired kids to beat up other kids if Bo didn’t have the time! Also, Vincent played MLB for the Kansas City Royals and was usually played in the outfield, Bo was famous for his wall run while he was playing in the MLB. While Bo Jackson was playing football for the Las Angeles Raiders, he had a very serious hip injury and could not play football anymore. But, he still played major league baseball for a while but then retired from professional spots for good when he was only 32, which is very young. Bo Jackson is a great athlete. Also, he is one of America’s most famous athletes and is one of America’s best athlete. He is one of my hero’s and many others hero and is part of the reason why I love sports so much. He is a great athlete and an even better hero to me, there is actually a documentaray on this great athlete and you should check it
