The Black Angus also known as the Aberdeen Angus are one of the most high quality Purebreds in the cattle industry. They are a Bos Taurus and the origin of the Angus is northeastern, Scotland. The very first Angus cattle were imported into the U.S. in 1873 by a Kansas rancher named George Grant. This breed is all black and known worldwide for its marbling texture and eating qualities. The Angus even when given a small amount of food no matter the quality can still produce prime and choice grade meats. Another great quality the Angus has would be its reproductive ability. Breeding an angus bull with any other breed can pretty much ensure there will be no calving problems. Their calves are known for having little to no injuries or impairments.

The Angelus is a beautiful cross breed with great qualities taken from the Angeln and the Black Angus. A mix of these two breeds makes the Angelus a brown cow with black and white spots similar to a dairy cow.This breed will be Bos Taurus for reason that both of its producers are also Bos Taurus. The Angelus has fantastic reproductive aspects. Because of the Angeln genes, the Angelus will have traits such as easiness when delivering the calf and low calf losses after birthing. Another great trait taken from the Angeln would be its size and production of dairy. It would be a smaller cow lacking in size and taking up less space but that doesn’t mean it lacks in amount of milk and butter it produces for the owner. Because of the Black Angus genes, the Angelus will have spectacular eating and meat producing qualities.
