When Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarfs arrived in Rivendell everyone had different emotions. Bilbo was very enthusiastic to see the elves and wanted to ask them multiple questions while the dwarfs were not to fond of the elves. When they get to their temporary home, they meet Elrond, a friend of the elves, and he does not feel to fond with the dwarfs love of gold, but would rather have them loving gold than a dragon who is wicked and cruel to the civilians. The elves enjoy to sing and play and can be kind of a nuisance. Everyone gets their fair share of enjoyment when they go to Rivendell When Bilbo first saw the elves he became really excited.
