There are three examples of the Christian philosophy shown in this poem: you can survive with the protection of God, all gifts are driven from God, and the proper attitude of man is to be humble and unselfish. The author also mentions God frequently in the epic. He also gives many allusions to the bible within the epic Beowulf.
