The three principle characters, Stig, Meg and Anet, reasonably present good and bad and the conflicts related with these commonplace traits. Human underhandedness is appeared in sharp complexity opposed to the decency and genuineness of Stig and Meg. I was especially touched by the guiltlessness of the youngsters in the story. Nature is given the most extreme regard and thankfulness with the assistance of Meg. I cherished the path of Meg specifically, indicated by her regard for the lives of creatures and plants and how she really battled to safeguard them. The author skillfully draws out these mind boggling topics with a touch of amusingness.

The harmony amongst pictures and story in this book is intriguing for a novel. There were two or three full page pictures that assisted in showing a portion of the wild narrative. The representations improved the narrative of the aliens. The pictures are brilliant and eye-catching. There is a mind-boggling measure of detail in each photo, yet it is sufficient only to hold one's gaze while reading the rest of the story.

Belas Rift was elegantly composed. The book was somewhat moderate paced first and foremost and somewhat hard to get it initially. The story however got pace later towards the

Title: The title of the book is “Flotsam”. The title itself would not have sparked my interest, because I didn't know what it meant. After researching “flotsam”, it means, “The wreckage of a ship or its cargo found floating on or washed up by the sea” (Merriam-Webster). After knowing the definition and reading the book, the title does fit well with the book.…

The page following the book’s title depicts a scene at sea. The whole image is washed with a dark blue from the sky to the ocean, and the crashing waves convey a menacing journey has taken place. At the bottom of the page, if one looks closely, it is evident that the bottom of the wooden raft has been drawn but blends into the rest of the image. This inclusion of the raft changes the perspective of the image as the responder is now been positioned as if they were looking out from the raft, the place of the Man. An immediate bond has now been formed between the responder and the man, and for the rest of the text we continue to sympathise with him.…

This book is engaging from the outset, and deceptively simple. It takes us into the world of a young Sengalese student, Ousmane Gueye, the son of a devout Muslim. Ousmane is more devoted to his mother, Yahe Khady, than to religion or tradition. The first chapters use the framing device of Ousmane’s walk to the university to tell his backstory, how he helped his mother and developed a thirst for knowledge, which was only strengthened after he was snubbed by his flirtatious childhood friend Ouleymatou. Ousmane becomes an academic success, determined to get out of his poor working class district on the outskirts of Dakar.…
