Final Project 2 In life everyone has different think and behaviors usually do to how a person is raised during childhood, what they have seen during childhood, or it is inherited through genes that are passed on to them. The person that I have chosen for my interview profile is a female, which is the opposite sex from me because I am a male. I made the decision of choosing a female for my interview because men and women think a little differently

She also stated that sometimes other people’s attitude toward her affected her attitude toward them meaning if they had a poor attitude with her she would more than likely have a poor attitude toward them. As for me I think that my mood and the people around me has the most influence on my attitude because if someone I am around has a negative or positive attitude then their attitude affects my attitude and I will more than likely have the same attitude as them in the long run, but for the most part if someone has a negative attitude I try to keep my attitude positive. When it comes to race, gender, and ethnicity my interviewee and I think that they play a role when it comes to developing a person’s personality and attitude. We both agree that people of different race, gender, and ethnicity think and behave differently in the same situation because of how they were raised or how they are treated in certain situations. In the article ”The Mystery of Sensitive Men and Spock-Logic Women”, Charles R. Martin explains that gendered behaviors, thinking-feeling preference are personalities, not gender qualities. People read books about male-female communication differences but did not often find descriptions that match their gender appearances. The author states that people usually think men are thinking type and women are feeling type. In contrast, studies showed that the thinking-feeling type is more related to personal communicating preference than gender. Thinking females and feeling males can both exist. The only thing people need to do is being themselves.…

For this project I interviewed my two male roommates, Eli Goodman and Chris Roat as well as my sister Katie DeLoach, and my friend from high school Gabby Gurewitz. I chose my two roommates as interview subjects because they couldn’t be more different. Chris is always really flirty with girls and Eli is generally quitter. Eli is white and Jewish, while Chris is Latino and Christian. Also Eli tends to think much more logically while Chris is much more laid back so I thought it would be interesting to see the contrast in their answers. I chose my sister Katie because she used to be extremely self-conscious but has gotten much more confident throughout college so I was interested to see how this would…

When I received this assignment it took a little thought to decide who I wanted to profile in my paper. Since how I work for HEB, I have many people in the HR field that I could have interviewed. After considering all my options I decided to go all the way to the top of HEB’s HR in Central Texas. The reason I wanted to interview the Central Texas Director of Human Resource for H-E-B is so others will know how much pride HEB takes in their Human Resource department and the type of person it takes to be the Director of Human Resources at HEB. In order for one to be considered for this position one would have to have exquisite people skills and a heart and spirit for helping. This is why I chose Mr. Vic Nivens, the Director of Human Resources…

In the following paragraphs I will compare the profile of my interviewee and I in contrast it to the results of the Myers Briggs test along with other questions to see how we compare. My interviewee was my wife of similar age, actually a couple of years my younger as we are in our 40’s. Backgrounds are different with my wife coming from a middle class white family in the far southern area of Indiana. My upbringing was of a military family with my Father being from central Indiana and my mother coming from Japan, this difference has interestingly shaped my views a little bit differently from hers, but on the same side of things as we have become older shaped a truly similar point of view on ourselves, family, and society.…

Humans are complex and intricate beings. We all feel, think, behave and look different. However, psychologists and researchers have been developing patterns in how experiences and processes shape the way we are and how we handle certain tasks. There are many variables that shape the way we learn and remember, our attitudes and personality, and what motivates us. To better understand these experiences and processes, I will compare the same characteristics of my own to a young girl named Jenny. We are both close in age, background, gender, race and circumstance.…
