Beautiful Bahamas Research Paper
The Beautiful Bahamas Has there ever been a thought of going to the Bahamas? If not, maybe it should be a thought. The Bahamas is a gorgeous place to visit. To start, the water is a vibrant blue. It is the prettiest ocean water that I have ever seen. Whether flying in or cruising in, it surely is a beautiful sight. The sight of just being able to see the island is like no other. Being in the Bahamas is a great place to go, especially if you have never been there before. The Bahamians love when cruises come in. It is a big source of where their money comes from. On average, about two to four ships a day dock in Nassau, Bahamas depending on the day of the week. This number of ships is great because the Bahamians get a lot of their money from these tourists. …show more content…
This restaurant is not only known in the Bahamas, but in other foreign countries as well. If you like to party, this is the place to go. There is a band and people singing, conga lines, and people going crazy. For instance the conga line, this is the best because they have a worker with a bottle of alcohol giving out shots as you walk by. As long as you’re sixteen, they don’t care if you are drinking. That’s the age for most countries outside of the United States. The food is very good as well. They have anywhere from burgers, chicken, pork, to different salads, seafood’s, and nachos. This was one of the best places I went to while visiting the

The Penascola Gulf Islands in Florida are pretty much your average definition of paradise. The area is known for the most beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters. The beach stretches for miles along the Gulf of Mexico, full of people constructing hammocks to lie in the warm sun, standing for hours fishing, and many many others jumping around the waves and surfing or swimming in the calm waters. These islands are essentially a strip of land completely surrounded by water, which means you’ll get a good view wherever you go. With many resorts, restaurants, and coastal areas, these islands have all you need.…

Even though Hermosa Beach California and Redondo Beach California are next to each other they are really worlds apart. In Spanish Hermosa means beautiful and Hermosa Beach is just that.…

The food was very flavorful as well as authentic to the Louisianan style that includes French and Spanish heritage, the only thing that I would change is that the food came out slightly hotter. The service and hospitality of the restaurant and its employees was one of the most polite and pleasant experiences I've had in a while. Not only did the employees treat their customer with high respect, but also their fellow coworkers. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed with a family friendly feel but also mature enough for a fully functioning bar. The live band was a very nice addition as well, although it could be a little quieter because of how small the restaurants size is and how the sound carries very well. All in all though, I had a great time and I very much look forward to my next visit to Gulf Coast…

He knew he was just being paranoid but with major threats he felt uneasy. He heard Michael call to him from ahead “Are you coming or what?” John laughed and got on board. When they arrived they felt like they were in paradise, the weather was…

The 1942 riot in Bay Street and in the Over-the-hill areas (place were the poorer black Bahamians lived) of New Providence was triggered by a labor dispute, but have been described as the first sign of a popular movement in the Bahamas. The Burma Road Riot occurred on June 1st 1942 through June 2nd 1942, when thousands of Bahamian workers came to Bay Street in a march of solidarity. This was a result of the years of oppression of Bahamian workers at the Oakes Field airport. These workers got paid four (4) shillings a day which is equal to one (1) dollar. As a result of this, a number of requests were sent to the labor officer by the Bahamas Federation of Labor (BFL) for an increase in their wages and this request was turned down by the construction company.…
