Basic Message of Islam
Islam is a religion that has existed that begins as the faith of a small community of follower who called “Muslims” in Arabia in the seventh century, Muhammad, a rich businessman who eventually married a rich widow in Mecca. In his middle age he began to receive revelations from the God that have been preserved in the Qur’an and spread it believe and teaching to the rest of the world.
The basic message of Islam is Jackson J.S (2009) “there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet”, which mean the submission of human to the only God who called as “Allah” The only one who created the universal and Muhammad is the messenger of God. Essentially, the Qur’an contains Muhammad revelations of a heavenly book written by secretaries, consisting of 114 chapters as a guidelines of ethics and law for it followers of Allah. In Muslims, Only Allah has the right to responds to it follower’s prayers, whether to accept or reject one sin, no one ever else can interfere with the fate of others or even with his own fate.
Islam was a direct and simple faith, emphasizing the need to obey the will of Allah with a basic ethical code that consisting Five Pillar of Islam. Which is belief in Allah and Muhammad as his Prophet- It is considered the most important out of the five pillar where Allah is their only god and Muhammad is his messenger; standard prayer five times a day and public prayer on Friday at midday to worship Allah- Muslim must worship Allah and practiced it five time a day and also on Friday midday; observance of the holy month of Ramadan by fasting from dawn to sunset- Muslims must fast during the holy month of Ramadan to experience the poor feeling on every ninth month on the Muslim calendar; making a pilgrimage to Mecca in one’s lifetime if possible- Muslim are expected travel to Mecca at least once if they can afford it; and giving alms to the poor and unfortunate- help those who were poor and unfortunate if they able to.     There is five “pillars” of Islam with having five meaning and five requirements that is expected of all Muslims. Islam beliefs are reflected and shown in the Five Pillars in many different ways. The first one is the Testimony of Faith. The Testimony of Faith is saying with a conviction “There is no God, and Muhammad is his Prophet.” This faith is in one God, if rightly lived is believed to lead to unity with God. The second one is Prayer. Muslims perform five prayers a day and each prayer does not take more than a few minutes to perform. In Islam, prayer is a direct link between the worshipper and God. The third one is giving between two percent and ten percent of income is to be shared with the poor of the community. The fourth one is Fasting the month of Ramadan. Every year in the month of Ramadan all of the Muslims fast from dawn until sundown, having no food, nothing to drink and no sexual relations. For the last one the fifth one the pillar is a big part of the central belief and it says that Muslims have to pilgrimage to Mecca at least once during their lifetime.…
