Baseball In Middle Schools Essay
Do you like baseball? Well I do and I feel really strong about schools having baseball especially middle schools in the Kent school district. I mean middle schools have sports like football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, dance, and cheer if you think that’s a sport. But what about baseball there are a lot of baseball players out there I’m sure of it. Nine people is all it takes to have a team that’s it nine people. If its injury’s parents are worried about the percent of getting hurt are really slim. If its cost the district is worried about this Kent school district has enough money for middle school and high school kids to have lap tops and also teachers. Coaches is not a problem either because if a teacher can teach any sport then they can teach baseball it’s not hard and it’s really simple. I’m personally a baseball player I am catcher I’m not going to lie but I have been hit and almost knocked out before multiple times it …show more content…
Either way it is way more fun to practice after school with your friends. So baseball should be a middle school sport. Think of it as if you were a kid and you played baseball I think that you would want someone to care about your thoughts. least only think that someone cares I'm only 12 ok I would like someone to at least try to make this happen. I mean we have a football team football can hurt people maybe even kill someone umm hello there's a sport that’s called baseball. So I want to know what’s wrong with the sport. I know it could cost a lot but we have football that costs because you have to pay the refs. So I can’t think of anything that’s wrong with getting baseball back to middle school baseball I want to play baseball in high school and I would want to start in middle school so I can see what it’s like before I get to high school. Middle school baseball would be really

Baseball is not a game for the weak minded. You can strike out 6 out of 10 times at the plate and still be a great batter. One thing baseball will teach anybody who plays it is comradery. A brotherhood within the players that will always be there! I don’t believe there is any other sport out there that gives you that sense of trusting one another. Baseball is the only sport I know that is an individual sport and team sport at the same time!…

I played baseball throughout high school except for my senior year. The reason was that I was treated unfairly. During my junior year, I was told that I would play varsity and junior varsity. I put up outstanding numbers on junior varsity (batting average over .600, no field errors), but the coach refused to call me up to replace the other struggling player (batting average under .200, multiple errors), saying that it was just a slump and he would pull out of it. I was able to be on varsity for the playoffs, but couldn't take batting practice or field with the team with the coach saying that I wasn't part of the team. The player continued to struggle, but we did win the state championship (I did not receive a ring for not being a "member of…

As the baseball diamond started to fade in and out of my blurry vision, I realized something was wrong when I was still sitting on the bench. I was on varsity baseball, ( that’s what I thought I was gonna spend the rest of my life doing) my grade point average was rising, and I was surrounded by positive people all around me who gave off a positive vibe. Of course all good things must to an end right? Well my good times came to end quickly.…

The animals are ready to burst out of their cages and breathe the fresh air of middle school grounds. Students frantically begin to hush their peers in order to be the first let out. In the jungle, there are always two or three monkeys that decide to create chaos. Among the others, mumbling could be heard about the upcoming games about to take place. Many already started to decide what teams and students would be taking over the field. In Wilson Southern Middle School, those monkeys at recess decided to play a rule-breaking game of shark and minnows. Along with this game, they played a back breaking lunch bag tag, and an awkward imaginary game. Recess does not only contain games, but it has a huge impact on the body and its health.…

    Softball Persuasive Essay

We get what life hands us and sometimes it is good, but sometimes it is bad. A great activity offered by schools is softball and I am very thankful for that. First, softball makes a big difference in health. Second, we can get a good scholarship by playing softball and if we are a good enough player. Last, if we play softball, we are able to get physical with the other players. As can be seen, it is a good thing schools give us the opportunity to have all these great activities. First of all, softball really improves our health a lot. When we go up to swing the bat and we swing really hard, it works our arm muscles and makes us stronger. All we do in softball is run laps. We hit the ball we get to run the bases or if the ball is hit by another player we have to run to it to catch the ball, sometimes we do not get to catch it. If we practice we have to run the fence three times before practice is over which is not fun. When I play softball I am not allowed to have pop, the only things I am aloud to drink is water or Gatorade. I am fine with drinking either of those because they are both good and healthy. After all, this is why…

Growing up I played baseball to me baseball was everything i could think of. i couldn't wait to the weekend so i could put on that dirty uniform and pick up the new bat and nice leather glove and play baseball. When i was young i played in a big park in NYC where everyone saw you play so as i grew up everyone expected me to continue playing baseball and get better and work hard my mother always signed me up for baseball and i met a lot of coaches who help me gain more talent throughout the years. So as i grew up baseball started to be more and more of a priority to me i went to baseball practice two times a week one during the week and one on the weekend and with baseball practice i attended a baseball program which is twice a week meaning less and less time for homework and time to study. that being said i believe that time management and dealing with less and less sleep is the biggest problem with high school sports.…

See if schools ban sports, some kids won’t find a good reason to come to school. Kids won’t want to come school because it will only be the same subjects they have learned for the past ten years. I’m pretty sure that kids will want to have something fun to do at school so that they would come to school, do their work, and get to sports practice. I believe in this because I didn’t really want to do anything when I wasn’t playing in a sport for school. At some schools, you have to have good grades to play in a sport, that the kind of school that I go to. That rule made me keep my grades up because, I wanted to continue to play a sport. So my point here is that,…

There are many upsides to this side of the argument. I knew that I would save money on registration, gear, and uniforms. I would also have more time on the academic side of things. I could have more time to study, do homework, or even hang out with my friends. The downsides is that I wouldn’t do what I enjoy doing. I might not even be in shape without playing baseball. I realized that my joy and fun is more important than being a complete nerd. I should be able to let off my steam by playing baseball.…
