Barriers To Evidence Based Practice

Great Post Susan, evidence-based practice is implementing the best research evidence in caring for patients, however, due to barriers like lack of time, difficulty understanding and interpreting research information is making it hard for nurses to implement evidence-based into their practice. Research show more than 64% of nurses with a positive attitude toward evidence-based practice, however, they voice concerns about heavy workload that is preventing them from keeping up to date with new evidence ( Majid et al., 2011).
