Barack Obama 'What Kind'
Barack Obama “What Kind” 2008. President Obama main focus was to persuade Americans on a better education system. On the other hand, John McCain doesn’t believe in improving the education system, instead he think education funding should be cut. However, according to Justin Bank, “What Kind” had distorted the voting records, for example “In 1955, McCain voted for a Republican budget resolution for fiscal year 1996 that would have reduced education spending from the previous year” (Banks, 2016). Knowing the facts, my opinions of President Obama did not change my opinions, instead my opinions are still the same. The emotional appeal continue to influence me, because of the images of children getting the speech of how important it is to get an

“Make America great again!” Have you ever considered that this slogan, used by new presidential elect Donald Trump, related back to the terrorism issues during Barack Obama’s service in the White House. ISIS is one of the most well known terrorist groups that have executed many maniacal attacks on the U.S. within the past eight years, but Obama had the audacity to leave each incident ignored. Barack Obama should have spent more of his effort reducing or removing terrorism threats in America than he did during his presidency because it makes our country a target for other terrorist groups, parts of our country are now physically destroyed, and many people are left with terminal injuries or are dead.…

He uses his common upbringing to contrast with Kerry’s more prestigious upbringing to show how the two could still work together. Despite Barack Obama’s valiant attempts to bring the American people to a consensus to vote for John Kerry, his cause ultimately fails because Bush was reelected for a second term. Some of the voters who supported Bush claimed that they voted for him because they felt that they would rather have a beer with Bush than Kerry. However, this speech may have paved the way to Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008. In fact, Obama’s ability to bring different groups of people together for a common cause allowed him to win the 2008 election, and perhaps the 2012 election as…

Barack Hussein Obama was born August 4, 1961, and lived much of his childhood in the state of Hawaii. Being the son of a black Kenyan father and a white American mother, he has been able to live a very culturally diverse life, and also has had the chance of living life as a minority citizen. This, combined with the fact that he received degrees from both Columbia University and Harvard Law School obviously show evidence that he is a well educated and worldly candidate who can truly understand and appreciate the ideals of the common man; without discrimination. Obama believes so much in this equality of the common man, that upon his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1991, his chosen career was fighting for it as a civil rights lawyer; right up until his election into the Illinois Senate in 1997. After serving 7 years in the state senate, in 2003, Barack Obama launched his campaign for U.S. Senate, and won by a landslide in the 2004 election. Since his election into congress, he has been involved in resolving many key legislative issues, and has used this previous experience and knowledge to help in developing his campaign for presidency, which he announced in February of 2007.…

Many conservative political members claimed the speech to be propaganda of a socialist agenda, which naturally caused disagreement in the media. Some parents’ received permission to withdraw their children from the school meeting, where the speech was broadcasted as some thought that it was not suitable for their children’s political positioning. Many believed that the speech on the values of education and hard work would be one sided and about Democrat propaganda. This seems rather sad, due to the fact that Obama refers to the students of the nation as a whole, and needs every single one of them to stay in school and work hard. He talks about the students very personally by using the word ”you” multiple times. He also puts pressure on the students by saying that if they do not at least try to succeed in school they are letting down their country, which is quite harsh to say, but is viewed motivational. By this Obama is trying to make a point that everybody in the US has a chance to succeed as long as they try. Although some will fail, he wants the students to keep trying.…

Every four years around election time, presidential hopefuls declare how they plan to cure the world of its poor health. Rumor has it that, these candidates can lower taxes, produce world peace, clear our streets of crime and practically educate every child in America in four short years. One particular candidate stated that he would build up the most significant education plan in our nation’s history. He guaranteed every child in America would read on grade level and that every teacher would be highly qualified to teach our students. This plan sounded laudable, therefore we elected Bush as our president in 2001. Educators have since then discovered that the plan is flawed, leaving more students, teachers and schools behind than before.…
