Baltimore: Why I Love My Hometown
Often referred to as Charm City, Mobtown, Bodymore, Bmore and Murdaland. Home of the infamous chicken boxes with salt, pepper, ketchup and a large half and half ice tea on the side. Home of the HBO critically-acclaimed Wire t.v series and The Corner t.v series which depicted the everyday struggle of inner city life. Home of the summer time favorite snow balls with marshmallows. Baltimore is one of the greatest cities from the favorite tourist destinations, The Inner Harbor, Lexington Market, and Fells Point. Baltimore has been home to a few famous people such as Edgar Allen Poe, Frederick Douglass and Thurgood Marshall. From the slang, the fashions and other many things that makes Baltimore great, I love my city and proud to be a Baltimorean.
