Integration of Faith and Learning Character is extremely important in every aspect of life, whether that be in business or personal relationships. Without character, how can one be trusted, honest, or capable of understanding? It is necessary for one to understand what the Holy Bible says about character. One of the verses that relates to character is Romans 5: 3-5 in the New King James Version (1982) which reads,
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (p. 650).
This verse would mean that through the suffering people endure they find perseverance and with the perseverance they build character. Character allows them to build and maintain their hope in God and everything that God and the Holy Spirit had empowered us with. …show more content…
Against such there is no law” (p.674). This verse speaks of how true character is developed through the situations that people face. Actions almost always speak louder than the words people speak. When actions are not proper, good, or following in the manner that true character would deem appropriate, then the devil is at work and people must fight this if they are to show Jesus and his ways to the
