Assessment Tools Analysis Paper
Assessment tools are used in nursing to enhance the overall assessment phase of the nursing process. The assessment tools that I have selected to analyze are: The Spiritual Well-

The humanistic model of religion also explains religion in comparison to human needs. In this approach, though, the needs described are more for a person’s growth, purpose in life, and for self-actualization. In my youth I enjoyed learning about different cultures, religions, and philosophies. Frequently I would see how the things I had learned as a child were reflected in the practices and beliefs of people very different from myself. I could see simple truths become evident not only in things explained by tradition, science, or logic, but also by means that could not be explained. I had begun my journey of living by faith.…

The nurse requires an extensive knowledge base in order to accurately evaluate the effectiveness of the goals set forth in a nursing care plan. The knowledge a nurse gains is not solely based on the extent of her or his education. In addition, the experience and ability to recognize changes which require intervention are imperative to the development and expansion of a nurse’s knowledge base. The process by which a nurse is able to demonstrate his or her ability to effectively evaluate a patient is “generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication as a guide to belief and action” (Alligood, 2010).…
