Arguments Against Gay Marriage

Gay marriage is a hot topic that is debated and spoken about constantly around the globe. Gay marriage is by definition: the marriage of two people of the same sex, so either two men or two women, and this is the reason why it's so often spoken of and has many mixed opinions on the topic. Many people say that love is love, and marriage works if two people love each other no matter what gender, but many people argue against this. They argue that it's wrong and God created a woman and man (Adam and Eve) to love each other, not two people of the same sex. They argue that we shouldn't bother changing laws for a small amount of gay couples. Some even argue that gay marriage is 'just wrong' and it's offends God. There are so many reasons against gay marriage but why should sexuality or gender affect a couples legal rights?
It's often argued that it's unfair if gay couple raises a child. They say it damages the child and the child will most likely want to be raised by a mother and father. Children who are raised by parents of the same sex might appreciate gay marriage and be more of accepting of other ethical issues. People just assume that it's normal for a child to have a mother and father but there are lots of gay couples with children who live a happy and healthy life. In saying there are a lot of people who argue against gay marriage, there a many who are for gay marriage and
I think love is love and why should somebody not be allowed to get married based on their sexuality? It doesn't change anything nor does it affect anyone. If someone is happier being married to the same sex why are we saying no, how is it any different to a man and woman being married? Yes man and woman were created to love each other and conceive a child but a gay couple can adopt or foster an orphan. It actually helps out to children who have never had parents
