Argumentative Essay: Should Police Use Body Cameras?
Yes, police officers should be required to use body cameras because it reduce the force by police officers, reduce dishonesty , and it help police superiors use the camera as a tool for reliable supervision. Police brutality been going on for a while now about 730 people have been shot and killed by police. According to "Source 2 " they state that "Police dashboard cameras have been in use by some law enforcement agencies since the mid-1990s". A black teenager in Ferguson on August 2014 had been shot and killed and sparked up the community.

First, Police should be required to use body cameras because it will reduce the force by police officers. I know you have seen on the news how police officer handle us black folks and we don't like in no way. According to " SIRS DATABASE" it states that " Those in favor of having all police officers wear body cameras claim that their use will reduce the use of force by police officers and lessen the number of complaints by citizens against the police". With the bodycams police will be gentle with arresting victim because he on tape and everybody and anybody can see that

With the bodycams police wont lie on the incident report because their actually evidence that maybe you handle the situation the wrong way. According to " The Right Body Camera Policy" it states " in general, watching body camera footage should reduce dishonesty in incidents reports When the footage shows that the police officer was unambiguous misconducting , officers would think twice to write a dishonesty report. Another thing, the " Newspaper Los Angeles Times" explained that "When the footage reveals proper behavior , officers would feel emboldened to present their actions honestly and confidently" Its not all that bad wearing the bodycam, wearing the bodycams will make the officers feel bold and confident to talk about what went on in the
