Argument on Getting School Essays
It's the first day of school and you have to find the perfect outfit to make a good impression. Instead of tearing through your closet, making a huge mess, you can just grab your uniform and be off. You don’t have to worry about making a good first impression because everyone looks the same. Uniforms would be a beneficial addition to Lafayette School.
To start off, in school, most middle school students are bullied because of what they are wearing. If everyone has the same clothing, bullying wouldn’t occur as much as it would without uniforms. With uniforms, there's no discrimination because of what you're wearing. People get bullied in schools because they do not have to fit in and buy the newest hottest cloths. Also, since everyone looks the same in uniforms, you would sound idiotic if you tried making fun of someone because of their clothing; because you are wearing the same thing. Next, peer pressure would be eliminated while trying to learn. Uniforms will limit the amount of bullying that goes on in our school.
They may not fix everything but it does help, most schools with uniforms have better academic scores. It is proven that schools with uniforms have better academic scores for a couple reasons. First, if we had uniforms you wouldn’t be fidgeting with your belt, or t-shirt while the teacher is teaching. You would be focusing on the teacher, and paying closer attention to what you are learning. Also, with uniforms on you look more professional. It is a fact that the more professional dressed you look, the more you pay attention. Paying attention can help your grades by a lot. If Lafayette gets uniforms, our overall grades will improve.
The most important factor is getting uniforms is saving money. Money also plays a big part in the clothing we wear. Not all styles are affordable. Students are made fun of because they can't afford "in" clothing. It isn’t the person’s fault that they can’t afford the “now” clothes. Maybe there is a family issue at home,
