Application of chemistry in computer science
Application of chemistry in computer science & engeering
Computer degrees often have a general science requirement and chemistry can fulfill that requirement . A computer science student choose to take chemistry classes because they are broadly useful to an understanding of structures and scientific techniques .
In chemistry classes , students learn about the basic structure of everything in the universe . Some colleges offer joint degrees in computer science and chemistry because of the compatibility of these disciplines . Students who excel in computer science and chemistry can train for careers that use computer applications in chemistry.
Chemistry fosters understanding of structure. Dealing with computer code and system architecture requires this type of thinking. A student who takes chemistry for a computer degree learns to recognize the ways in which pieces fit together and from there . He is able to predict the behaviour of systems more effectively . In a more direct application of this knowledge , learning electrochemistry can foster a better understanding of the microchips and semiconductors that support all modern electronics.
Every chemistry student becomes very familiar with orders of magnitude : comparing very tiny scale objects such an atoms and molecules with medium scale objects such as ourselves and larger scale objects such as the environment and the planet . This also lends itself to an understanding of computers and a deeper ability to visualize to proportions of memory and disk capacity . chemistry classes teach the meaning of prefixes such as nano, micro, mega ,giga and tera that computer users take for granted on daily classes basis . The classes also familarize students with the metric system of measurement , which is especially useful to Americans not practices in metric measurements.
Computer science relies on the scientic method just as much as any other science . Labourtary science help students become more intimately familiar with

Chemistry is a vast quantity of a person’s everyday life. A person can find chemistry in his or her daily life in the foods that a person eats, air a person breathes, soap, and accurately everything a person comes in contact with. Chemistry is significant in everyday life because chemicals make up everything in life. For example, a person’s body, pet, a desk, the sun, food, and drugs a person may take, to name a few. A person can observe changes in chemistry caused by chemical reactions, such as leaves changing colors, cooking food, and mixing a cleaning product. Knowing chemistry can help a person make day-to-day choices that affect his or her life. For example, if a person should mix certain household chemicals together.…

Chemistry is very important in our lifes. If you really begin to think about how things work, everything is made up from a formula and works together through chemical reactions. Our foods, our bodies, health care and beauty products, medicines, some factories that use fuel for power, and even cleaning supplies. All of these things have chemical reactions that relate our everyday use of household products or even our jobs to chemistry.…

combination and behaviour under various conditions, it is everywhere and without it we would not be a civilized and highly technical world. Chemistry explains how food changes as you cook it, how it rots, how to preserve food, how your body uses the food you eat, and how ingredients interact to make food. You use chemistry when you use bleaches and disinfectants and even ordinary soap and water. How do they work? That's chemistry! You need to understand basic chemistry so you can understand how vitamins, supplements, and drugs can help or harm you. The importance of chemistry lies partly in developing and testing new medical treatments and medicines. Chemistry is at the heart of environmental issues. What makes one chemical a nutrient and another chemical a pollutant? How can you clean up the environment? What processes can produce the things you need without harming the environment? We're all chemists in some way or another. We use chemicals every day and perform chemical reactions without thinking much about them. Chemistry is important because everything you do is chemistry! Even your body is made of chemicals. Chemical reactions occur when you breathe, eat, or just sit there reading. All matter is made of chemicals, so the importance of chemistry is that it's the study of everything.…

Since primary school, I have considered myself a math and science guy. My sophomore year, I found that chemistry was one of the most intriguing classes I had ever taken. I enjoyed the subject so much that I decided to take biology in summer school so I could enroll in AP Chemistry my junior year. This year, I am working as a teaching assistant for my AP Chemistry teacher. Chemistry appeals to me because I am curious about the way our world works on a molecular level, and being able to help explain it to others as a teaching assistant has given me an…

In fact, I loved it so much that I took not one, but two years of it. Because of this single class, I constantly find myself calculating partial pressures or writing molecular structures for every compound I know. The most fascinating part about chemistry is it’s everywhere! Whether it is understanding how biological chemistry keeps us alive or how the chemicals in our food nourish the body, chemistry is crucial to survival, yet, chemistry isn’t just fascinating in an anatomical way, it’s all around us. Take pasta, for instance, my favorite meal to cook and eat. Now imagine, making this dish at least three times a week for the past six years. Wouldn’t you wonder what chemical processes occur when cooking, or how to boil water the fastest? That’s what chemistry provided me--a platform to make the mundane process of cooking an exciting experience that I can fathom on a molecular level. I just can’t say it enough, I love…
