Anne may be living in terrible conditions, but she sees it in a positive viewpoint saying that it is like being on vacation. It can be argued that this positive attitude did not help Anne because she ended up being killed during the Holocaust. Anne may of not survived the Holocaust because of her positive attitude, but it made it easier to live and enjoy life in the terrible situation. Anne also made it better by making the living conditions more cheerful. Anne wrote, “Thanks to Father--who brought my entire postcard and movie-star collection here beforehand--and to a brush and a pot of glue, I was able to plaster the wall with pictures. It looks much more cheerful” (374). Anne once again is making the best out of her conditions by decorating her room and making it more cheerful. People also got through conflict by looking at the good things in life and blocking out the negative things. In Dear Miss Breed, there was a letter from a girl by the name of Louise Ogawa. Louise was being sent to a relocation camp in Arizona. The letter…

Over the course of her confinement, Anne stops her childish jealousy of her sister and becomes friends with Peter so she no longer annoys him. People who are close to her notice that from her time entering annex til their exit, Anne not only grows as a person in terms of emotions, but the way she acts also reflects it. She goes from being young, childish, and unruly to being a young adult who is capable of making smart decisions on the ways she acts and represents herself. Anne shows that time and experience have a major factor in the way she developed as a…

Along with Anne’s friendly and talkative persona, she surely was stubborn. When arguing about talking back she says, “Things have changed. People aren’t like that anymore. ‘Yes mother.’ ‘No mother.’ I’ve got to fight things out for myself.” She wanted to handle problems the way she liked, not the way her mom liked. Obviously, being confined with seven other people became tedious, so Anne would end up arguing with them over trivial matters, like Anne having nightmares, disturbing Mr. Dussel’s sleep. With everyone in danger of being found, the anxiety and fear was rising over the top.…

Anne Frank's book is "recognized as a monument to the courage and strength of the hum spirit" ("Diary of Anne Frank"). During this dark time and because of Anne's diary, the whole world knows it. She is recognized as a symbol of bravery and strength, through the whole world and her thoughts will remind people what was lost. Able to face terror with courage, made Anne amazing. She writes honestly in her journal displaying her as a symbol of hope (Frank qtd. in "Anne Frank"). Rather than her writing being wordy and immature, it was honest and straight forward. The writing was so amazing because she still had her perceptions of everyday life, making it relatable with petty everyday problems. This was most likely because it was a diary meant for providing eyes only. Her journal gave courage to the millions of people who read it. Refusing to give up hope during the darkest time of the Holocaust, her journal was the voice heard for the millions who died( Lewis). Anne was so brave during this dark time, she kept hope in her heart, by making plans for the future. Her journal with her words is one of the most remembered things from the holocaust. All the lost by people is because they realized all the life they had through Anne's life and her diary. Anne's diary was honest, therefore making it a symbol and being the voice to all those lost in the…
