Ancient Roman Inventions
The Roman Empire was the most successful ancient civilization.They created many inventions.Second,They had very great food.Third, they had the best army.
Inventions
The Romans invented toilets,they invented toilets in the bronze and iron age,Indoor plumbing was not for everybody,only the richest could afford them in their houses,all toilets were public except the people you bought them in there house.They built numerous concrete structures that still stand today.They built numerous concrete structures,including the Pantheon in Rome.Rome invented arches,The Romans learned about the arch from the Etruscans,changed it and were the first builders to tap its full potential for above ground buildings.This is the first in the world to appreciate

They brought food out of different countries,Like cheese,fruit ,salt, olive oil and wine.Poor people just ate simple meat,vegetables and porridge.Rich people enjoyed such luxuries meals and exotic food and wine.The romans ate beef,pork,wild boar,venison, hare, guniea fowl,pheasant, chicken,geese,peacock,duck,and dormice served with honey. They drank wine, the romans also drank wine mixed with other stuff.
The Army
The roman army could march up to 20 miles a day wearing armour.Men could only be in war. They could swim across rivers in boats or build bridges and smash their way into forts.Each person carried their own weapons and shield, some food and camping supplies.the Roman army was divided into about 30 legions. Each legion was made up of 4000 to 6000 men.They wore metal helmets .They carried rectangular shield,its was curved so it could protect the body.The shield was made out of wood and leather.The soldier's main weapon was a short sword for stabbing and a long spear or a javelin for throwing
Conclusion
In conclusion the egypts built the pyramids and the greeks built statues and made the olympics but the roman invented toilets and sewers and aqueducts and had the best army and conquered the Whole Mediterranean
