ANCIENT CHINESE INVENTIONS The Chinese invented many useful inventions such as Gunpowder, hang gliders, and the compass. Today these inventions are used daily in our everyday lives. Currently gunpowder is used in fireworks and deadly weapons such as guns. The compass is used when people are outdoors, hiking, or camping. Hang glider is used for recreation. People get on top of a high ledge and jump off to get acceleration.
