Ancient Aliens: Fact of Fiction?
Ancient Aliens: Fact or Fiction?
Have you ever wondered how many of the great marvels of the world were created? The pyramids of Egypt were a great marvel constructed by men—as far as we know it—with such precision that it’s makes you wonder. The pyramids are not a building stile only know to Egyptians. The Mayans also use pyramid style buildings in their temples. Why two different civilizations, separated by miles away with no connection with each other, built so precise constructions, like the pyramids? Somehow they were influenced by the same culture.

Ancient Alien theorists believed we have been visited in the past by Ancient Aliens, who helped shaped human culture and the humanity itself. There are various arguments that we humans were the simple creation of Aliens through genetic modification, something considered absurd few years ago that we could create another being simply by genetic modification. We proved that such thing is possible to do. Remember Dolly? If we humans were capable of doing such feat, why couldn’t this have been done before by a more advance society, the Ancient Aliens?

The movie Prometheus recently brought that idea alive when a group of archeologists in the year 2100 found some cave paints around the world from ancient civilizations and they all had paintings showing a group of stars. The interesting fact about it was that not just one but many ancient civilizations had the similar map of the exact same constellation. How was it possible if they were separated by miles and miles distant and yet, they had the same exact drawing? Prometheus is just a movie and we can think of it as just mere fiction but do we have something on earth similar to what Prometheus have suggested? The answer is yes, you just have to look.

Planet Earth was formed around 4 billion years ago. We are now in year 2012, but this is because we started counting the dates since the birth of Jesus, 2012 years ago. History started when our planet earth was

The Egyptian pyramids are landmarks because they exhibit the astounding architectural feats and showcase the culture of the time. Built with primitive tools by today's standards, they used no pulleys or mortar, just large blocks of rock that perfectly fit. They were built to to guide pharoahs to the afterlife and contained everything that would make the journey more comfortable for them, from simple objects such as jewelry and dishware to people and animals the pharoah loved. They weren't just massive tombs, they were time capsules chock full of information. Within the chambers, there were frescos of everyday life and with the objects housed there we learned how they preserved their pharoah and how they lived.…

According the Verner, the best evidence of the ancient Egyptians mathematical knowledge is found in the construction of their pyramids (Verner 70). For example, the Great Pyramid itself, which was built by Khufu, is not a typical four-sided pyramid like most pyramids built during the fourth century. In a book titled The Egyptian Pyramids, the author, J.P. Lepre states that the Great Pyramid is an eight-sided figure which is made possible with the concavity of it’s core (Lepre 65). The indentations that make this figure eight-sided, however, can only be seen from the air and are basically invisible from any position on the ground. This unique pyramid design and the ability of the ancient Egyptians to create an eight-sided figure that looks four-sided unless seen from the air, shows just how vast their mathematical skills and knowledge were thousands of years ago. In an article titled The Mysterious Secrets of the Great Pyramid, the author, William F. Dankenbring, discusses the ideas of another author named Peter Tompkins who says “Whoever built the Great Pyramid…knew the circumference of the planet, and the length of the year to several decimals – data which were not rediscovered till the seventeenth century” (Dankenbring 21). The fact that the ancient Egyptians had knowledge of such complex ideas before the common…

Even now, people still think that aliens made the Pyramids. The Egyptians were far ahead of their time. They were able to drag hundreds, if not thousands, of several ton limestone blocks all on the backs of men. They figured out how to roll logs underneath the limestone blocks so they would move better. They learned that if a rectangular wooden structure had too much weight on top, the walls would cave. So, they used limestone, and they made the base of the structure thicker than the top. They knew how to make things work through trial and error. They didn't need any aliens to help them! The Egyptians were and still are, an intelligent people. They did not give up when they had their minds set on a colossal monument to celebrate their leaders. The Egyptians wanted everyone to know the power they held. Even now, 4,575 years later, we still see the feats of the…

Aliens built the Egyptian pyramids. Recent research supports the theory that the Pyramids were built long before humans inhabited the area now known as Egypt. It is also nearly impossible for the Egyptians to have lifted and moved the limestone brick used to build these massive structures. Only a more advanced form of life could have constructed such an enormous undertaking, while using advanced mathematics and geography that were not yet known to ancient peoples.…

There are many predicted meanings about architecture of the pyramids, some more far-fetched than others. One hypothesized reason for the shape of the pyramids evolves from the story of creation. According to an article by the Canadian Museum of History, “Perhaps the shape originated from the creation story, in which the world is conceived as a flat plane with four corners representing the north, east, south and west.” They article continued, “When the sky rose up, forming an invisible central axis like a pole or tree in the centre, the world took on the shape of a pyramid.” Another idea relates to the slopes of the pyramids. The slanted sides of a pyramid were believed to be designed to lead the pharaoh’s soul to heaven, representative of the rays of the sun (Parker). Also, the very top of the pyramid, known as the peak, is speculated to symbolize the entrance of the gods’ energy into the human world (“First”). For these designs to be interpreted, hard labor had to be done to create the…

The ancient Egyptians built pyramids as burial places for their pharaohs. They believed that the pyramid acted as “the gateway to the next world” (Engineering the Impossible). The Egyptian people believed that their pharaoh was a human embodiment of the Sun God, Aman, and that it was necessary to mummify and bury him in a pyramid, where he would be able to rise into the heavens and watch over his people. By building a pyramid for their pharaoh, the Egyptian people believed that they were helping themselves because when the pharaoh returned to the heavens he would reward his people with rich harvests (Engineering the Impossible).…
