Analysis organizational capabilities of Haier Group

As we all know, Haier Group is a Chinese multinational consumer electronics and home appliances company. Its products include air conditioners, mobile phones, computers, microwave ovens, washing machines and so on, and also has been received a big success and good reputation in the world.

There are some reasons for organizational capabilities about why Haier Group could achieve a big success. About human capabilities, it should not be ignored. In current society, the competition of company is human resource’s competition, so if a company wants to be successful, it should own rich human resource. In order to keep the qualities of the employees, we should concern the recruitment of this company, which often keeps a good relationship with famous universities and holds some job fairs in these universities to choose the most outstanding students in these universities. And then this company provides employees some training programs. Firstly, new employees will become the interns in their own department and then learn from experienced employees, which could make them to know their own basic work and others’ work, and the supervisor could observe them whether have enough ability to do this job and to cooperate with other employees. Secondly, the special training is this company has their own university that has the high-level facilities and teachers to train experienced employees. Concerning the motivation, the company will give enough material motivation (e.g. wage and bonus) and non-material motivation (e.g. employees have their own career development plan according their position and abilities). Employees would feel that their own efforts would be rewarded and then would spare no efforts to finish their work. By these ways, Haier Group could recruit and retain many talented people to form rich talent pool.
