Analysis Of English College Composition Class At Lake Superior College
I almost dropped out of college in the 4th week of Fall semester, but my life took a swift turn around; after I had stomped on the essay The Truth About M&M. The essay describes the varieties of students that usually sign up for English College Composition class at Lake Superior College. The Truth About M&M was written and published by Steve Dalager. Steve is a professor, and an English Composition instructor at Lake Superior College in Duluth, Minnesota. Professor Steve taught High School English in Bismarck, North Dakota, and Shiprock in New Mexico. In addition, Professor Steve has a Master’s Degree in English from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

In the 3rd week of class, I experienced the pain of regret as my concentration level had dwindled, and this was solely because I was busy surfing the net on my phone, playing video games, chatting on Facebook, and snap chating. I could gain access to D2L and the course material via my cell phone, nonetheless I was easily distracted. My personal analysis, I found out that in the logical fallacies assignment, 95% replies from the instructor was re-directing individual student to study the MLA format. A particular response to the professor’s instruction on MLA format, in the logical fallacies assignment one student wrote, “I guess I am still not understanding this? What am I doing wrong?" (Donahue). This response could have been from me; as I could not properly cite MLA sources as well, but I’m wise enough to realize that the instructor was only trying to help the class get
