Analysis Of David Tao's 'Savage !'
According to the New York Times (Li J., 2017), the video of the man being forcibly removed and seen with a bloody face went viral and appeared on state television channel-CCTV, and showed the picture of David Tao’s bloodied face with the word “Savage!”. The ruling Communist Party’s flagship newspaper criticized United Airlines for abandoning industry-wide standards, and said it was “gravely disappointing”. Chinadaily, the national English-language newspaper of china, conduced an online poll ask their audience’s opinion on the way United Airlines treated David Tao. About 80% participant think the United Airlines is not entities to forcibly take passengers off the plane.
