I have read two articles based on the idea of free college education, one being for the concept and the other against it. After reading both sides of the arguments, I side against free college education. First of all, the article against free education states nothing in life is free. It’s physically impossible to be providing high quality education for less than a penny. Therefore, the money would have to come from somewhere. If it isn’t going to be the students taking care of their responsibilities, it’s going to end up being the taxpayers. They already pay for substantial grants and scholarships awarded to students each year. It is unfair to place this burden on the general population.
