Going to the Gym Creates Healthy Bodies
I know for a fact that almost everyone has stepped into a gym once in their lives. I have met countless people who have said that they have been there, done that, and got the t-shirt; but what every single one of them has in common is some kind of excuse as to why they have stopped going in the first place - myself included. Anyone can enter a gym feeling bad about themselves and how they look, however, that moment they finished their workout, they are already feeling better about themselves. From my research, I conclude that the gym provides any active member of society - or potential activist - a way of increasing their flexibility, mobility, strength, endurance, overall health.
What Happens at the Gym?
People join the gym for numerous different reasons. They could be joining for weight loss, muscle gain, muscle toning, or even flexibility by participating in sponsored yoga classes that are offered at the establishment. Frankly, what happens at the gym depends on the

According to the article "Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans," (2008), being a regularly active person can help the body prevent certain cancers, heart disease, strokes, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, anxiety, and weight gain. If this is the case, then being lazy does the complete opposite. Therefore, If someone doesn 't currently go outside and exercise, or is not very active during the day, the littlest amount of increased physical activity will benefit them tremendously - even if they do not see the

    Due to higher trends of sedentary lifestyles, inactivity has become one of the critical current global issues. Inactivity is defined as a failure to meet the daily minimum physical requirement of moderate exercise. According to New York Times, worldwide, 31.1% of adults are inactive, from which 43.4% of North America, 34.8% of Europe, 30% of Russia, 30% of the Middle East, and 27% African. Based on these percentages, it is reasonable to assume that the wealthy the region is, the more inactive it is likely to be. It is unfortunate that people do not understand the magnitude of the importance of physical activity due to the fact that inactivity is as deadly as smoking cigarettes. In the United States, inactivity level is the highest in the world, which makes it an undeniable concern. The average American lifestyle consists of driving to work, sitting at a desk all day, then sitting in front of a computer or a TV screen until falling asleep. The common trend of this routine is a lot of sitting and very little exercise. Although, the good news is that health issues correlated with inactivity can be easily prevented by meeting the minimum exercise requirement, which is a twenty-minute walk per day.
