The "American Dream" is still possible for everyone today. Back then in the past the "American Dream" wasnt possible for everyone because of discrimination. But now discrimination doesnt happened like it did back in the past. Immigrants come to America for them to give their childrens/Kids that are born now or in the 1998 for them to have a better education and also a better life. In addition, young people put hard work into their school for them to be able to go to college and graduate. The "American Dream" is for people who work hard for it. languston hughes wants to be equal to his brothers(white brothers). Phillis was sold to a family in Boston. The family who adpoted her was really nice because they where American, the family gave her everything. In addition, Phillis Wheatley was the first African Ameican girl that George Washington was honored to meet and appriciate her poems.
Barack Obama is the first black president of the united states of America. He said "all mens are created equal," Illustrates that he is not racism and wants each person to treate everyone the same. he wants for kids to have an education system, he doesnt want kids without an education. therefore, Obama states that even if youre and immigrant everyone should treate you the same because you are equal to everyone and we are too.
In conclusion, the "American Dream" is avaiable to everyone today. The American Dream is for people that want a better life and want to do go in the future, In the peoms and articles it states that everyone should be equal no matter youre color of skin or where you come from, but also have freedom to do what you want.
