Always Running Luis Rodriguez Analysis
Have you ever encounter any basic question in such as who should you be or how should you live? Perhaps this come from a good fictional novel that makes us think like this. In the story, “ Always Running” by Luis Rodriguez , In Los Angeles, during the outbreak of gang violence, luis, an immigrant from mexico, having a rough start in life which make him join hardcore gangs. In a way we can evaluate why people are in gangs and why they do it just by reading a book or actually interview a person that have done this before.
First of all, gang violence is everywhere although we do not see it at times, it is there and we should be aware of this social issue that happen in someone life. Some folks may think that these people that are in gangs were born into it or they just like to break the laws. Some of us may never know the answer why they are in gangs but we can seek our answers in books. For example in the book “ Always Running” , by Luis rodriguez in pages 50-68 it summarizes that Luis rodriguez joins a gang with his friend name the Animal Tribe in which he says he wants respect and to show he can take care of himself. As a result this ruins Luis’s relationship with his mom which makes him leave the …show more content…
For example in the article, “120 charge in Bronx Gang Bust” by Carnie Romey and Pervaiz Shallwani say that these two gangs have been in war for nearly a decade and they are responsible for robbery,slashing, and also murder which dates back in 2007 which means these two gangs have charge with serious consequences. Fortunately we are to ignorant to explore this criteria because we think that gang member are bad people but yet we do not know the reason why they are in it.
