In this day in time, people tend to get quite competitive with friends or foes. Though those who may be of an accepting mindset, have a competent personality. Though the world we live in is full of competition of: fashion, personality, technology, and also friends. Alfie Kohn, proves a valid point when he says that “trying to be number one and trying to do something well are two different things.” We do have a tendency to apply the law of the jungle to human behavior. Being a competitive person is a better way to success. You find alternative to be the best and to be on top. There is more determination when being competitive, for the reason being that you are pushing yourself to be better. Lastly, with a competitive lifestyle you are challenging
