Alexander's Narrative
Alexander was walking towards the store where he could get a katana, until he sees a Yu-Gi-Oh Card store. He walks into the store and by the time he got out of the store it was 12:00 P.M. and he had walked in there at 8:00 P.M. Alexander walks around town on a cold and pitch black night. “I can’t seem to find my apartment.” said, Alexander to a stranger. The stranger ignores him. He goes to a nearby convenience store and asks the cashier, “Do you know where Sunset Road is?” “わかりません。” (I don’t understand) said the cashier. He responded with “Come on you have to be kidding me, I DON'T KNOW JAPANESE!” and storms out only to get a brick from the side of the road and throw it at the window. He bolted as soon as he saw an officer charging at him. …show more content…
The day he is released the first thing was getting a car, tint the windows, paint it black, make everything black. The next week he goes to a bank in 100% black and robs the bank. He took a friend with him so when he runs out he will get into his car and his friend will speed off. When his plan worked exactly like he expected it to be he said, “Wow, that's a first. I honestly didn't expect that to work.” Then he casually took off the black clothes he had on and under all the clothing he had a suit on. He met up with his friend at a McDonald's. Alexander Told his friend “I took $100 Thousand. It was my 3rd best adrenaline rush.” “What were the first two?” said Mike. “Uh, I don’t think you want to know.” Then all of a sudden the S.W.A.T. team bursts through the glass. They run to the S.W.A.T. team vehicle and hijack it. They ran for 5 days, causing almost $456 thousand worth of damage. The day they thought they were going to get caught they just sat on the couch and gave up because they felt like it was the end, but by then they had gotten a haircut, shaved, gotten new clothes, and adapted to a new accent. The S.W.A.T. team busted through the doors and windows only to say “Wait, uh did we get the right house?” “I thought we did.” Well, apparently not.” “Sorry, for destroying your house. I thought you were the guy we were looking for.” “It's okay.” said

All throughout school teachers have taught students that Alexander The Great was indeed great but, is this really true? He did conquer much land and spread greek culture throughout Europe but not many people know what he did to his men in order to do this. One way that he torched his men to get what he wants is in Document D when the man went through all that work to get him his hat back after it falling into the water than killed him. He did this because in order to get the hat back without getting wet he would have to place it on his head. Since he placed in on his head he had to get it cut off because it says “he should not allow the head that had worn the royal head band to be safe” (Document D). He did this to show the rest of his men…

The Alexander portrayed by Arrian in his The Campaigns of Alexander, is an interesting and complex Alexander, a character that slowly grows, matures and evolves throughout his adventures in new lands. Arrian is able to give an in depth description of the battles Alexander took part in as well as the lands he traveled to, while at the same time describing Alexander’s character. He is able to describe how Alexander goes from an over-confident youth, with great dreams of grandeur, to an adult who remains almost the same but more wise, and then finally a sad shadow of his former self who finally dies in depression.…

When observing the qualities of a person, usually what are taken in account are that person’s actions. Alexander the Great, possibly one of the greatest war generals/kings of all time, was a gifted young man for his tactical strategies for battle. Through his victories and successes, he conquered a majority of the world. Plutarch writes a biography on Alexander, in which he includes his own views, which may or may not agree with other historians (though Plutarch’s accuracy may not be considered 100% seeing as he was alive a very long time after the king of Macedonia was dead), about Alexander: he was strong, confident, and audacious.…

Michelle Alexander author of "The New Jim Crow" argues that Mass Incarceration has regenerated laws similar to Jim Crow; Alexander believes these caste systems such as Jim Crow and slavery are similar to the existing system of mass incarceration. In addition, Alexander alleges the U.S. criminal justice system created laws that mainly target African Americans through the War on Drugs. In comparing mass incarceration with Jim Crow, Alexander points to compelling parallels regarding political disenfranchisement and legalized discrimination, but her comparison regarding the symbolic production of a race weakens her argument. Alexander, moreover, effectively offers a rebuttal to the counterargument that the New Jim Crow does not carry the same level…

The Persian empire at its peak has long been seen as one of the largest wholes during the classical era, and few have rivaled its size. The land that Alexander the Great was able to conquer, however, was one of the few that served as an appropriate challenge. Around the time of 338 B.C.E through 323 B.C.E., Alexander's collected mass was a whole. Of a Greek origin, Alexander was taught by Aristotle, the great philosopher, and it can be inferred that he used the strategic methods learned, among other things, to assist him during his expansion. It was short lived, however, when he died of an unknown cause at an early age of thirty-three. Even though his empire crumbled, his legacy lived on. Multiple cities, strongly influenced by Alexander, erected,…
