Alexander The Great: Helpful Or Successful?
There is nothing impossible to him who will try - Alexander the Great

If you set your mind to something than anything could happen. Alexander the great was a very accomplished person. He is remembered by many people still to this day. A lot of people today tend to give up on things when they become difficult and challenging. I think this quote written by Alexander shows that he doesn’t want people to be giving up on themselves because times get hard, he wanted people to try their very hardest and by doing that they can overcome anything that they wanted or needed to overcome

There are a lot of things that i could think of that could be considered impossible and i could never imagine anybody ever doing anything like it. Some of those impossible things include people living on mars which there was a movie made about it which is pretty crazy to me. Another impossible thing that people do that i would consider impossible because it makes no sense would have to be how people meditate because how do people even float it makes no sense to me.

Some of the things that i believe people could still overcome would be how people do the crazy jumping tricks on dirt bikes, having dangerous animal pets that they try to tame. You can't tame something that is meant to be wild in my own opinion. Those are some things that some people would say are impossible but you could still make

To be quite honest before this lesson I had always held the assumption that Alexander The Great was similar to that of Caesar; mainly in the sense that he was a general who gained power through conquest. Yet, to my surprise, I now know that Alexander was infact the son of a king, Phillip the second. Knowing this, I now view this discussion question a bit differently. There is no doubt that Alexander The Great was infact an influence character in history, but I wager his father deserves more credit than what common history gives him. The empire Alexander created both militarily and politically would, in my opinion, never occurred with the earlier conquest, and alliances his father set up. Simply put, the military and resources Alexander needed to begin his trek across the known world to the Greeks would have never happened without the alliances with the other powers Philip the second secured through political married and then latter conquest. Alexander very well could have amassed a military through the ways his father did, but the point is he did not have to do that in the beginning. Naturally, he would recruit new members to the military with ever conquest, but I believe saying this to answer a question on how Alexander created his empire’s army would be trival. However, the question itself is dually worded. The empire's military, as least for the beginning part of its creation would have been allotted to Alexander through what his father archived.…

Alexanders respect of other people's beliefs was one of the biggest reasons he is considered great. While other conquerors in this time period, like the persians, would try to destroy and get rid of other people's cultures Alexander would study and learn from them. He did this to such an extent in Egypt that they even referred to him as a god and pharaoh. In other places he would study their beliefs, and try to understand them as a people, and he may have been doing this to learn how to control them, but based on his character it is more likely that he did it so learn how to respect them.…

“Alexander The Great Hero or Villain” By: Shelby Hammond-Helms I think that Alexander the Great is a hero because he had a lot of accomplishments and legacies that are important. Alexander the Great did do some bad things but most heroes do. I think that his accomplishments over ride his actions that were hurtful to other people. I think that his most important accomplishment is the Hellenistic culture. Alexander the Great founded the city Alexandria.…

As a youth Alexander set out with his army to Egypt with a confidence that he could do almost anything. After conquering Egypt he describes himself as being part god, to the dimay of some Greeks. He even refuses Darius’ offer for Alexander to marry his daughter, because he says he does not need his permission to marry Darius’ daughter. This part of Alexander’s life serves to show his “young and stupid” phase, where is extremely cocky, acting as if he could take over the entire world if he wanted to, even though he does see most of the world in terms of what people during Alexander’s time thought the world was. Although Alexander does become more wise to the ways of the world as he ages, he never really sheds his over-confidence until right before his death.…

Many people think that Alexander the Great was truly great because of all his accomplishments, but not all of the things he did were great. I believe that nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself. Everyone experiences hardships at least once in a lifetime and there are many different ways how each person deals with those hardships. For example, some people just give up because they think they cannot do anything about it and some people keep try to work in a way so they can overcome the hardships. I understand that there are some situations that many people just can’t do anything about it such as family or close friend’s death, loss of job, loss of money, etc. Usually, when people face these kinds of hardships, they tend to give up on their lives because they think there is no hope in their lives any longer. However, I personally believe that everyone can overcome these hardships even though it requires some time if they believe in themselves and don’t give up.…
