How does Alex survive in a world where he is being critiqued by everybody he walks by? Nobody will ever know. He is commonly looked upon as a standard 14 year old boy, that is completely wrong, take another look and learn his past and figure out why he survived a egyptian madman threatening to poison all of the british schoolchildren when all odds were against him. He now has to face a mad scientist that can clone more than just sheep. Now Alex has to stop him from stealing millionaires money and sending cloned versions kids home to their parents and leaving them in shock and disbelief.

The first character that was noticeable that was pressuring Alex was Alan Blunt. He was pressuring him by attempting to blackmail him because he really wants to get him to go to the academy Point Blanc. Point Blanc is French for white point. Mr Blunt does pressures Alex in book one by threatening to blackmail him, again. Another way Alan pressures Alex is by sending him to the rich british household the Friend family. The 15 year old daughter that lives there was forcing Alex to go “hunting” with the surrounding rich families. The boys were messing with him and shooting expensive shotguns. The girl also forced him to go horseback riding which almost got them ran over by a train. The choices that Alex makes can change the point of view. The point of view for the first 100 pages is about Alex because it's all him and sometimes other friends. For the remainder of the book it goes back and forth between different characters. Alex sees things as many people can not see it, he plans way ahead of time just to be safe and ready for whatever challenges present themselves. As Alex tries to progress different people come into the book that are either protagonists or antagonists.
