African American Soldiers During The Civil War
The Civil War was one of the most tragic wars in American history. More Americans died in all different wars. When the civil war happened our world was all torn apart. While slavery was not officially outlawed until the passage of the 13th amendment, the slaves were set free upon the end of the war.

The women were affected by the Civil war because when the men left the homes the women had to take their roll at home.Women during the civil war dressed up as men to go help fight in the war. Eventually, in the 1860s laws were made to made provoke women from fighting in the war.

African americans were affected When Abraham lincoln became president he freed slaves and stood up for the blacks.During the war african americans were treated bad and didn’t get the things that they should’ve been awarded with. After Abraham lincoln helped blacks some men decided to join the war.Abraham lincoln helped the blacks that were on his team.many people didn’t like Abraham lincoln. …show more content…

    Before the Revolutionary War even began, slaves started to realize that the promises to secure their freedom from England and reduce the amount of slaves were seemingly unlikely. The African Americans were segregated and determined as free or enslaved. The Atlantic Slave Trade was setup to be a successful business in the 18th century , it sent slaves to southern states that specialized in agriculture.
