Adult Interview Research Paper
I interviewed an adult woman who lives in my neighborhood. Her name is Marina and she is 66 years old always trying to be active but in fact, she has a lot of health issues. She lost her husband 12 years ago and from then on, she lives by herself. So, I decided to invite her for a breakfast on Sunday morning and spent a little bit time together and talk. She responded to my invite with a very enthusiasm and interest. I am assuming it is because in her life there is not happening a lot of interesting events. I know her almost 4 years and I thought I could have guessed somewhat correctly about her interests in music, films, and TV shows.

I was trying to imagine what kind of music she will like considering her age, nationality, and stories that she had told me before about her life. I was thinking she might like classic music that she will enjoy and relax or their national music that would remind her native country with a lot of good memories. I would say that her favorite music would be something old from the years when she was young which would remind her passed but sweet days of young her life. I was very

My predictions were that she likes romantic films, soap operas, and musicals. She likes romantic films but she did a correction that she likes more to read books about romantic stories. She also complained that she is having hard times to find new books in the library. When I told her about the amazon that I can find books and order for her she got so excited and looked so happy which made me somewhat sense of fellfield that I could make this person’s daily boring life more interesting and saturated. She added that she likes watching detective films with action which seems very interesting to me that a woman in her age can have an interest in this field. During our conversation, she also mentioned that when her husband was alive they used to go together to the different

For this project, we were given four topics to write about. Those four topics were a practitioner interview, criminal court visit, police ride-along and a visit to a correctional facility. As much as I would have loved to go on a police ride-along I choose to obtain a practitioner interview. We were given the option to interview someone involved in the criminal justice system ranging from a police officer, attorney, judge or even a current inmate or someone that has served time before. I chose to write my paper or a former inmate named Kyle Stevens. Mr. Steven’s is actually one of my cousins we’ve lived right next to each other for most of both of your lives. Mr. Steven’s has had a rough life, he grew up primary with his father until he was…

This means that I perceive her background to be moderately similar to mine, which I can also agree with to an extent. I know we both grew up in small towns and went to small high schools and we both ended up at UW-Whitewater. The basics of our life kind of seem genrally the same, however I know that they most likely aren’t. I am Mexican-American so I know right away that our backgrounds are culturally different which is a very decisive thing to determine background similarity. I know that she hasn’t experienced a lot of the same things I have experienced and vice versa. I know that our cultural influences are slightly different. Since my family is Mexican I know that communicating with her is always going to be slightly different than when I communicate with someone else within my cultural background who shares my same attitudes, beliefs, and customs. For instance, if I were to tell her about some of my family’s traditions she most likely would not be able to relate at…

I interviewed Becky Hendrix, Executive Director for Professional Care Services. I recently had the honor of interviewing someone in our community who has had more than twenty years of leadership experience in our community. The interview ended up taking much longer than I expected because I was so influenced by what she had to say, I did not want to miss anything. Mrs. Becky Hendrix started her career as a CPA back in the 80 's for the World Color Press. Her leadership abilities were quickly realized, and she was promoted to head CPA. From there she moved on to the Professional Care Service where she remained for fifteen years serving as a CPA, and finally working her way up to the Executive Director. Becky was in charge of over 187 employees. My conversation with Becky took a direction that I did not expect. She attributes her success to the leadership traits that she has learned over the years, and quoted many of the very ideas and theories almost verbatim from our class lecture. That was an incredible experience to witness firsthand how these traits become behaviors and practices.…

Furthermore, this paper will examine how changes throughout history have influenced the person’s life course trajectory.
