Acting- belle essay
Acting class- belle running for political position

Hello everyone! I am Belle, and I will be the first princess running for town mayor. I am a very responsible, independent, and intelligent woman. I have many ways to make this town a better place. I will add more attractions in the town, expand education, and create new programs and clubs to help support banning violence.
First, as I said, I will add new attractions to this town. I will open up parks so people can take walks in them and observe nature. I will also plant beautiful yellow tulips and roses along every single sidewalk in this town, and plant enormous trees on every corner to put smiles on everyone’s faces. Then, for the kids, I will open up a play house that is free of price for kids all ages and it has the same design as the castle I met my true love in. I promise in my town will make every single person happy.
I will expand education in this town. I will hire better teachers for all schools so children get proper education; I will encourage every single child to try to do their best, and tell them not to be afraid to give wrong answers. For after-school studies children could go to the new libraries that I will build. Those libraries will be filled with many books that they can read, and it will help them grow up to be successful grown-ups like me.
Two very important things in my town are children and animals. Both must be treated with respect. I will create new programs to help stop violence towards animals and children. My goal is to end all violence in this town. Violence is an unacceptable act and should not be tolerated. I hope to stop all crime, because I’d like to have my town be a safe and comfortable place for everyone. I want to have my town filled with people that feel like they are living in a comfortable environment. I would like all citizens to come to me if there are any problems and I will try my best to solve them. I am very open to everyone, and I will judge no one. So,

Franco Zeffirelli and Baz Luhrmann have both directed a film version of Romeo and Juliet very well, but a movie can not capture everything from the book. So, which movie portrayed the book better? There are aspects of both movies that portray the book better. For example, there could one movie could show the character's personality better than the other one or one movie can show the city of Verona better than the other movie did. Small details of a scene could make a scene in one movie a lot better than on the other. Even the smallest of things like the way the characters are dressed could impact the entire scene. In some scenes, the Baz Luhrmann movie portrayed the book better because of the small details…

I am excited about the opportunity to represent the county and would enjoy traveling to other communities, meeting new people and sharing information about our county with others. I will project a positive attitude, make people feel comfortable when visiting with them and keep in mind to have a fun filled time and keep on smiling. I am not afraid to take on new challenges, as it is through the climb that we truly find out what our potential is. In the words of Bernice Johnson Reagon: “Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you; they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.” As I am getting older and meeting the challenges of growing older, I am finding out more about myself all the time. I have learned that I have determination and perseverance to accomplish more than I thought I could, I have patience and a soft heart for children and that I look forward to each day to be the best that I can be.…

On Sunday, April 9, I attended a production of A Heroine Free Summer, written by Dr. Janet Lowery. This production was held at Spring Street Studios, and directed by Chesley Krohn of Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company. Set at a lake house in upstate New York, this play explores what happens when a family of four sisters becomes divided - the result of two teenage sons confessing to drug use. The piece explores ideas of drug addiction, family history, and determining where your allegiances lie. Although I would have liked to have seen more vocal control from one of the actors, I felt that this piece overall had strong acting, well conceived scenic design, and well thought out costuming choices.…

For as long as I can remember, I always had more guy friends than girl friends. I am not sure if girls intimidated me, or if I just got along better with boys. Hearing this from a girl might sound strange. Being older, I realize the reason I prefer to surround myself with boys is because they can be more laid back and less dramatic. While I do have a couple of close girl friends now, I still have a bigger group of close guy friends.…

“Crew call after school, be there or be square” the posted announcement said. I still remember fairly vividly the initial day starting off as a theatre technician. Learning the procedure and getting acquainted with the people were many of the first things I did. Many of the experienced “techies,” as we called them explained to me the method they built sets and how to program the lighting console. Using power tools and saws were fun but planning and executing each step was the best part about it. Many mistakes were made while I was learning but time allowed me to develop and enhance my abilities.…
