Academic Decorum Narrative Self Analysis

Academic Decorum is behaving properly while learning and following all guidelines. To have good Academic Decorum, you will need to listen to your teacher and use that information to help you in class. Additionally, you would need to follow all guidelines from the teacher and most importantly to learn. For example, some students could be talking when the teacher is talking or messing around, but some students could be sitting quietly and listen to the teacher when they say something. The students that were listening and paying attention were the ones who had good academic decorum.

Narrative Self Analysis

When I’m in the classroom, I think I use good examples of Academic Decorum. During class, I listen to the teacher when they are speaking, I raise my hand when I have a question, I don't talk to anyone when someone else is speaking, and I read all the directions before asking a question. Even though these examples are just a few of what Academic Decorum entails, I feel like the examples I show are a good representation of Academic Decorum.

I perceive myself as a good student in
By increasing my vocabulary, I could use the vocabulary we use everyday and practice them to increase my vocabulary. Additionally, I could read more challenging books with harder vocabulary and learn the vocab in the books. For building up my reading level, learning new vocab could improve my reading level because the higher the reading level, the higher the vocabulary. With trying to build up my vocabulary, I could also build up my reading level. Finding my path to what I might study in college might be complicated, but I think if I just research different subjects that I’m even slightly into, I could find what my full job could be when I’m
