AD 802, 701: A Comparative Analysis
. In the future year of AD 802,701, humanity has evolved down to two different species. They are not like people but have certain characteristics that proved they are the post humans of Earth. To the time traveler, the eloi seem to be the sole descendants of humanity while the morlocks are mysterious and later become the antagonists of the story. The characteristics are so different from humans because of the amount of time it has been from the past. The time traveler was able to realize that humans will continually evolve.

Additionally, a way that humans evolve would be due to climate changes. To survive the changes that the world is making in weather and climate, the organisms living there, must change as well. For example, the eloi eat
