Then the Carthaginians conquered the Roman troops in Africa and captured Regulus himself, they ordered him to goto the Senate because they wanted to gain peace with Rome and to make an exchange of prisoners. Regulus therefore, swearing that he would gain these things or return to Carthage and die, set out for Rome. Entering in the senate, he explained all; all day, they debated these things. However Regulus was unwilling to speak; for he was of the opinion that he was nolonger a Roman senator but a prisoner of the Carthaginians. However, at length, when his co-consul asked Regulus f or advice again, he replied that the Romans should never make peace or the captive Carthaginians return; for these were young men and good generals, he was now an old man. This pleased the senate. For a long time, all were silent; then a certain person spoke in a loud voice `Stay Regulus¨he said `don´t leave your wife and son and friends´. Regulus replied to him that he would prefer to die among the enemy than remain at home, a consul who had broken his oath.

Neither the tears of his wife and son nor the shouts of the citizens were able to detain him.
He set out for Carthage at once with a sad expression; for he was not ignorant that he was setting out to a cruel enemy and a very wretched death

This is because there are a huge abundance of regulations and risks involved in the handling and preparation of food for those receiving a service. If you carry out food preparation tasks without training you run the risk of jeopardizing your health and safety and the health and safety of the people that will be consuming the food. For example, if you are untrained in the matter you may not be aware that you should use different chopping boards for preparing different foods.
