A Career In Which People Can Be Successful Without A College Career Case Study
Three examples of careers in which people can be successful without a college education are a cashier, a tour guide and a salesperson.

One example of a career in which people can be successful without a college degree is a cashier. A student in high school should take up a math course, as he or she will be able to do basic math when required without a use of a calculator for the purpose of counting money and also returning the excess money back to the customer. When in high school, the student should take advantage of the events held at the school and participate in them. Events such as book sales, fund raisers, carnivals and more will give an idea to the student about how being a cashier is and the responsibility that comes along with it.

A student in high school should take up a history course, as it will help the student know better about the place he or she is living in. when in high school, the student should join clubs relating to public speaking, debate and more as it will help the student develop social skills and improve on the student’s communication skills. When in high school, the student should take advantage of the events held at the school and participate in them. Cultural events will help the student to learn more about various cultures and traditions and give the student an idea about how a tour guide comes across different people from different places. The student should read newspapers or go through the news available on the internet. Through this, the student will be updated with the latest news, not only locally but also internationally. On completing high school, the student can apply jobs at a travel agency or a tour company. A tour guide must be able to entertain as well as remember historical events. The student must be aware of the upcoming projects of the city that he or she will be showing around. To become a tour guide, a student will not require a college degree because the required knowledge can be acquired from school and through the internet. The qualities needed in a tour guide such a kindness, humor, communication is something a student can develop through clubs, in schools and at homes. After having a little experience being a tour guide, he or she can also opt for opening their own tour
