Many people believed that the Twin Towers would never collapse and that it was invincible due to the complexity of its structure. The North Tower was constructed in December 1970, followed shortly by the South Tower in January 1972. The complex design of the World Trade Center was conceived as an urban renewal project and were used to restore confidence and help bring a halt to the decline of lower Manhattan. The 9/11 terrorist attack was a series of four attacks on the United States on the morning of September 11, 2001. The attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000 others, and cost at least $10 billion in property damage and infrastructure. The greatest factor that contributed to the loss of life of 9/11 was the construction of the towers…

Likely it is because Muslims have been responsible for two of the most prominent terrorist attacks in the past century, including 9/11 in the USA and the November 13 attacks in Paris. There is a clear link between 9/11 and Islam since the group that committed the attack was named “Al-Qaeda,” a self-proclaimed “Islamic” extremist group. I personally know three students in my class in New Jersey who lost a parent during this attack. I remember the videos online of the attack, still evoking strong emotion. It was a day that no American will ever forget. It was also the day where many began to accuse Islam, rather than Islamic extremists, for these attacks. Most of the accusers have never read the Quran, some did not even know where the Middle…

By declaring war after the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Bush administration garnered some advantages. These advantages were not used by Bush for personal reason but so that it was easier for the U.S.A., as a nation, to come together and fight terror. I think declaring the terrorist attacks as an act of war was the best move President Bush could have made. During war, our nation tends to come together as one, put everything else aside, and do whatever we can to help.…

The date is September 9, 2011, the day the Twin Towers fell, the day I witnessed people die. Those people either died because of jumping off the building, or because the burned to death. All I see now is rubble, rubble that used to be the World Trade Center also known as the Twin Towers. They collapsed because terrorists took over the planes and crashed into the towers. Many people died today, although if any one survived I highly doubt they will be the same. I highly doubt I will be the same. I no longer smell the fresh air nor do I even smell the exhaust of the cars. I only smell death, blood, and smoke. The rotting corpses of those people who lost their lives are sprawled out as far as the eye can see, some still intact while others are…
