I am applying for a 55-B/C for the following reasons:

I am 22 years old and I have been trying to obtain a position within the law enforcement community. In order to be considered for a law enforcement position one must take civil service exams. With that being said, my learning disability has severely impacted my test taking abilities from grade school to now.

My learning disability has impacted my ability to gain employment in the following ways:
As previously stated, my disability gravely impacts my test taking capabilities. Throughout grade school and my (collegiate career) under graduate schooling career, I received test accommodations. The accommodations I received helped to improve my test taking abilities. With that being said, law enforcement employment opportunities require that one earns significantly high scores on civil service exams.

The transition from receiving testing accommodations, to not receiving any assistance has significantly impacted my civil service test scores. Due to my low-test scores, I have yet been able to achieve a career in my college earned degree
