Real Life Scenarios
•
My friend was once separated from his Mom for a very long time. He didn’t have a hard life like Enrique did but he always felt like he need to have his mother by his side at times. He would beg for his father to let him be with her for a while but he would let him. So one day, he found out where she lives and decided to go visit her for a while. My friend and his mother were so happy to see one another and spent the whole day together. When my friend got home, he told his Dad. His Dad wasn’t too thrilled about him seeing his mother but he never saw him this happy before so he allowed him to visit his Mom whenever he wanted to.

In the movie GOL, a boy named Santiago plays soccer and is very good at it. So good that he got offered to go play for a British team called Newcastle and in the end, he wins an important game which sends the to the Champions League. But the Journey he faced on his way to Newcastle was horrible. His father died, he was alone in a new place, he was bullied by one player, got caught lying about an allergy he had. It was a very hard and difficult journey he faced. But in the end, everything work out for Santiago which is what i’m hoping is going to happen to Enrique

Problem and Overcome
Problem: Enrique is leaving Guatemala with no money and no experience to embark on a journey to the Mexican border. Overcome: Enrique had tried 7 times until he is finally where he needs to be to cross the border. He overcame this obstacle by his failed experiences and learning from his mistakes. But the friendly and giving people of Veracruz and Matehuala gave him some food, some money and sometimes

    Enrique’s journey has taken him over 7 years to find his mother. Throughout his journey Enrique runs into trouble with authorities that take all his money and belongings, as well as thief’s who try to steal from migrants.
