I met this lady named Daisy Buchanan that has the aura of luxury, grace and charm but I lied to her about my own background. Lately I have been feeling lost, out of place and lonely at my home in West Egg. For the last few years I feel as if I have been missing a piece of me, piece that I lost long ago and have yearned forever since. Before I moved to New York I knew a woman, let's call her "Daisy". She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I thought I would spend the rest of my life with; unfortunately I needed to put my love for "Daisy" on hold and fight for my country over in Europe. After I returned I soon found out that I lost "Daisy" to another man. In an effort to get her attention I've hosted magnificent parties, yet I have not been able to coax her back to me. Frankly, it's like I don't even exist to her. I have everything that a man could ever want like a luxurious car, a mansion and everlasting wealth. Yet, every time I lay down at night I feel as if I wasted another day of my life being lonely. Dear Abby can you please give me some advice to get "Daisy" Back?
It seems like this void in your life has been there for some time now. If you truly want "Daisy" then you need to go get her, like a real man. Women want to be swept off their feet by a man on a white horse, you have to show initiative. I'd suggest having a mutual friend possibly set you two up through coffee, tea or brunch. Be careful though, you could easily get yourself into trouble with "Daisy's" current man. Guys usually don't take too kindly to another man stealing their woman. Going for "Daisy" will create a fierce competition between you two. Hopefully you will be wise to these words and no get yourself killed. I hope you will find my suggestions beneficial to your quest for love!
