1. What is a computer?
A computer is an electronic device that accepts data(input), processes it, and gives a result(output). It can also store data for future use.

What is the information processing cycle?
The information processing cycle is the cycle data goes through when entered into a computer in order to determine its solution or result. Data is inputted, processed, and then outputted to give a result or solution.

2. Describe two health risks posed by computers.
One health risk posed by computers is developing a disorder of the hands known as, carpal tunnel syndrome, were the nerves and muscles in the hands are over used and can lead to not being able to use your hands or pain in the hands.
Another health risk posed by computers is Computer Addiction, were a person becomes obsessed with using a computer.

How might computers have a negative effect on the environment?
Computers can have a negative effect on the environment because they contain materials that are toxic and not biodegradable and need to be disposed of properly.

3. What is a Web application?
A Web application is a web site that allows users to access and interact with software from any computer or device that is connected to the Internet.

What are some features of a Web 2.0 site?
Some features of a Web 2.0 site are, allows users to share personal information, allow users to modify the web site content, and have software built into the site for users to access.

4. What are seven categories of computers?
The seven categories of computers are - Personal computers, Mobile computers and mobile devices, Game consoles, Servers, Mainframes, Supercomputers, and Embedded
