The term is also used to refer to hybridity in other areas, such as art, music, philosophy, and religion Sikh:Member of a religious community founded in the Punjab region of north India by Guru Nanak in the sixteenth century. It combines Bhakti, devotional Hinduism with Islamic Sufism.
