In the play A Man For All Seasons the character Richard Rich states early that “every man has his price.” For most of the characters in the play this is true. However‚ there are exceptions to this statement. Sir Thomas More‚ even when faced with impending doom refused to compromise his conscience. Others in the play did not show such bravery and commitment to their moral standard. Those that did not show such bravery are Richard Rich who betrayed More by giving falls witness against him in court

Through the exploration of the texts Maestro‚ by Peter Goldsworthy‚ and The Falling Man‚ by Richard Drew‚ the emergence of imagery deciphers and projects the varying meanings of each text. Through distinctively visual language features in the novel Maestro‚ images are created which help convey the major theme of the text; relationships. This is contrasted by the visual techniques in the image of The Falling Man‚ capturing a moment of terror in history

The experiences of the Invisible Man are so real and true with such rich imagery. Even today some 40 to 50 years later prejudice still rings throughout society like a loud‚ annoying bell. Some of us today still haven’t learned to treat all people equal and I think that is what makes the book so great that it will most likely never die out‚ no matter what era‚ what age the book will always relate to society and the lives of people. He woke up believing he was going home to his loved ones; and this is what made this act so fantastic and wonderful. For at some moment in the water he must have realized that he would not live if he continued to hand over the rope and ring to others
