Look around and that individual will find that the shelves are always stocked and there is an employee in almost every department maintaining a clean area. However, in recent years, according to Humes, Wal-Mart has truly taken steps to help the environment (“Green”). They currently use streamlined trucks for transportation, energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration, not to mention the $3.4 billion they saved by reducing packaging and recycling, most notably their efforts on laundry detergent, reducing bottle size to save plastic and water; perhaps the Waltons do earn their money honestly. People know Walmart’s slogan is “Save Money, Live Better”. Personally, I would go to Walmart to shop for all my grocery needs such as clothes, merchandise, diary, meat, poultry, vegetables, produce, etc. knowing that I can save money and they offer organic food at lower prices. My deep solutions for this matter are Walmart should consider outsourcing from local suppliers to cope up with the demands of their customers.
