Viejo Medical Center Case Study
To ensure quality control, GAH will have to optimize on the core competence and thus base its operations on them to boost the financial outlook and delivery of healthcare services. These competencies involve; seeking internal and external collaboration, designing and implementing patient-centered programs, economic value, the patient experience, and safety. Moreover, the organization will exercise enterprise risk management and financial stewardship as well as strategic planning in an unstable environment. By keeping a BSC, GAH will be able to perform better since it will have a better strategic planning, enhanced strategic communication and execution. Moreover, the organization will be able to improve performance reporting and manage information in a better way. This will affirm to the healthcare workers that the benefits emanating from the BSC will far outweigh the time spend on the implementation process.
The organization, once it starts operations, should seek to target and develop leadership potential in its staff by introducing them to organizational core values, vision, mission, and goals to ensure that they align with those of the staff. Through the core competencies, the organization will clarify expectations
