Roles and Responsibilities of agencies in Safeguarding Children
We all have a responsibility in Safeguarding and Protecting children and every child should be kept safe. Safeguarding children is a "multi-agency" organisation. Statutory organisations that work with children have a duty under Section 11 of the Children Act 2004 to ensure their functions are discharged with regard to the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Everyone who comes into contact with children and families has a role to play.” The following are the roles of (Doctors, Nurses, Police, Teachers, Social Services, Senco, Nursery Practitioner, Health Visitors, Parents, LSA, Council, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Hospital Consultant and Child Physiologist) in Safeguarding Children.
Regular testing of the fire alarms take place every six weeks at the School. The log book is kept by the head teacher, this is available to any visiting fire officer.
Fire instructions are clearly posted in all classrooms, offices and corridors. Also emergency exits are clearly signed.
